黃淑卿（b.1962），臺灣新北市人，國立臺灣師範大學美術系創作理論組（水墨畫）博士，現任教於國立臺北科技大學。喜歡繪畫、水墨創作、書法、藝術欣賞、生態藝術及賞鳥等，致力於藝術教育與生態藝術的耕耘，以鳥類做為水墨創作的核心元素，結合自然人文景觀、民俗文化及原住民傳統藝術的內涵，以多元視野的藝術觀，實踐文化融合的理想。
Huang Shu-ching (b. 1962) was born in New Taipei City, Taiwan. She holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts (with a concentration in Ink Painting Theory and Practice) from National Taiwan Normal University and currently serves on the faculty at National Taipei University of Technology. Her creative universe is driven by a passion for painting, calligraphy, ecological art, and birdwatching. Dedicated to both art education and ecological art, Huang places birds at the center of her ink practice, seamlessly intertwining natural landscapes, folk traditions, and lndigenous arts. Guided by an expansive, multi-faceted vision, her work actively realizes the ideal of cultural synthesis.
《無題》，為黃淑卿2003年的複合媒材紙本作品。當時作者正進行多件與酒甕有關的水墨創作，從即將轉型的樹林酒廠買回的酒甕，曾盛裝過酒業盛世的陳香，帶著舊時豐富藝術內涵和陶藝之美，而今將洗去鉛華，回歸一抔褐土。此件為參加一個素描展而創作，撕開畫有酒甕的宣紙和不規則形狀的牛皮紙，以拼貼的手法並置於素描畫紙上，再繪以草繩做連結，轉換與再現酒甕永恆的藝術價值。簽名：淑卿Huang，2003。
Untitled is a mixed-media work on paper created by Huang Shu-ching in 2003. At the time, the artist was working on several ink paintings featuring wine jars she had purchased from Shulin Winery, which was about to transform. Once filled with the mellow fragrance of aged wine from the industry’s heyday, these jars embodied the artistic richness of an earlier era and the beauty of ceramic craftsmanship. Now, they were to shed their former splendor and return to a handful of brown earth. To create this composite piece for a drawing exhibition, the artist arranged torn pieces of xuan paper bearing ink paintings of wine jars alongside irregularly torn pieces of kraft paper, collaging them onto drawing paper. She then drew straw ropes to connect the elements, giving new form to the jars’ enduring artistic value.
