潘維嬿（b.1956），生於臺灣基隆。畢業於國立藝術專科學校美工科（今國立臺灣藝術大學美術學系），美國紐約州立大學藝術研究所畢業。曾任東方技術學院美工系及樹德科技大學生活產品設計系兼任講師。曾獲第35屆全省美展版畫類優選獎、中華民國第3屆國際版畫雙年展入選等。創作靈感多源於對大自然的細緻觀察，出於對植物的熱愛，將其形態描摹融入藝術創作中。除了版畫，近年更延伸至陶藝創作，發展出系列作品。
Pan Wei-yan (b. 1956) was born in Keelung, Taiwan. She graduated from the Fine Arts and Crafts Department at the National Academy of Arts (now National Taiwan University of Arts) and earned her master’s degree in Fine Arts from the State University of New York. She has served as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Arts and Crafts at Tung Fang Design University and the Department of Living Product Design at Shu-Te University. Her honors include a Merit Award in the Printmaking Division at the 35th Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition, and her work was selected for the 3rd International Biennial Print Exhibit, R.O.C. Pan’s creative inspiration stems largely from the meticulous observation of nature. Driven by a deep passion for flora, she translates organic plant structures into her distinct artistic vocabulary. In recent years, she has expanded her practice beyond printmaking into ceramics, developing a captivating body of three-dimensional works.

Untitled is a print on paper created by Pan Wei-yan in 1993. The artist draws inspiration from natural forms, shaping her art through personal insights to explore images of her inner world. For this work, Pan used actual plant elements—including leaves, twigs, stems, and flower spikes—to produce direct impressions. These printings yield a rich variety of silhouettes, ranging from acicular (needle-like), lanceolate, and linear to ovate, cordate (heart-shaped), rhomboid, and pinnate forms. Through delicate linework, skillful arrangement, and collage, she integrates these natural motifs into a harmonious composition bursting with vitality.
