Eternal Spring in the Deer Park is an ink and color on paper painting by Lee Li-wen in 1981. It depicts a doe resting on the grass, attentively watching one fawn grazing while another lowers its head to nestle close to her side. Grounded in direct observation, the refined brushwork harmoniously unites the animals’ physical form and vital spirit, sensitively capturing their natural essence. The simple composition conveys an atmosphere of serene warmth and tender affection.
